Holly Snape works in the Central Government Documents Center at the Chinese Commuist Party Central Committee’s Compilation and Translation Bureau. She recently received her Ph.D. in East Asian Studies at the University of Bristol and continues to work in Beijing as an independent researcher focusing on Chinese domestic politics and social change.
